Biennale sessions

French pavilion

This Biennale Session reflects on the images and stereotypes associated with large residential complexes, starting from the series of postcards created and published on Twitter under the title Un jour, une ZUP, une carte postale by Renaud Epstein, a sociologist specialised in urban policies.

A group of Iuav students will contribute to this investigation by observing some of the most relevant public housing projects in Venice and the islands.

The aim is to reflect on the source imaginaries and envisage future scenarios that put these projects at the centre of new ways of living together.
