Il fratello di vostra madre è deceduto in America e vi ha lasciato un piccolo lascito.

Adesso siete anche proprietari di un rudere che insiste su una strada per la lunghezza di 8 metri.

Di una rudere profondo circa 8 metri.

Il rudere ha una superficie di 32 metri quadrati.

Il rudere si estende dalla strada di 4 metri.

Il retro della proprietà ha un orientamento sud-ovest verso un romantico paesaggio incontaminato.

Il terreno su cui insiste la rovina non è quadrato. Da qualche parte, sul lato ovest, vi è un leggero sconfinamento nella proprietà del vicino per circa 1,50 metri.

Se volete pensare l'intera proprietà quadrata potete negoziare con il vicino, ma non ve lo consiglio.

Obiettivi

si chiede di concettualizzare il modo di fare una casa per voi stessi, di una casa che possa crescere nel tempo. Usando, almeno in parte, le rovine avute in eredità. Si dovrà considerare la possibilità che la casa oggi in rovina debba ampliarsi in una casa di buone dimensioni affinché voi possiate viverci comodamente e avere il vostro atelier.

Gli studenti dovranno lavorare rappresentando i diversi scenari (la rovina, l'ampliamento) a mano libera su carta da schizzo o su carta bianca in fogli  A4 o  A3, usando matite, colori, o china.  Darete ai vostri computer una pausa per la durata del WS.

Forse sarebbe di aiuto se riconsiderasse cosa rimane del modo tradizionale di costruire.

Ciò propongo è un  esercizio di spontanea creatività con l'emozione di inventare una immagine individuale.

Your mother’s brother has passed away in America and has left you a small amount of money.

You are now the owner of a ruin with a street frontage of 8 metres.

A ruin which occupies a depth of about 8 metres.

The property extends a total of 32 metres overall.

The property falls away from the street front 4 metres.

The back of the property faces South West onto a quite charming rustic landscape.

The plot is not square. Somewhere on the west side it has a slight bulge into the neighbours property of about 1,50 metres.

If you want to make the property square you could negotiate with the neighbours but I would not advise you to do so.

You must conceptualize how you want to make a starter house for yourself which can grow. Using part of the ruins. You must consider the possibility of it growing into a good sized house for you to live in and to have your atelier.

You must work freehand on bumph or white sheets of paper either A4 or A3 in pencil or ink and you will give your computers a rest for the of the duration of the Summer School.

Perhaps it would be very helpful if you looked at what remains of the traditional way of building.

What I propose is an exercise in quite spontaneous creativity and the thrill of inventing an individual image.
