> contact the student mobility office at your home university to ensure they have an LLP/Erasmus agreement with Università Iuav di Venezia

> follow your home university’s instructions for their LLP/Erasmus student selection process

> once selected, download and complete the Iuav LLP/Erasmus application form

> make sure the form is signed and sent, along with a copy of your student I.D. or passport and two passport size photos, to the Iuav by the mobility office at your university

> request a European health insurance card from local health authorities before your departure

> arrange your accommodation well in advance (by June for September, by November for February).

> plan to arrive 15 days before the semester starts to allow yourself time to get settled

> check in at the International Mobility Office, where you can:

- enroll at the Università Iuav di Venezia

- pick up your exchange student I.D. (‘libretto’) and enrolment certificates (2)

> check in at the Front Office (Santa Croce 601, Campo della Lana, 30135 Venezia), where you will be given:

- user name and password for university computer access

- a personal e-mail address

> make an appointment to meet your tutor to discuss your learning agreement

> return your exchange student I.D. (‘libretto’) to the International Mobility Office and pick up an attendance certificate (an official ‘transcript of records’ will be sent to your permanent home address).
