The admission of
foreign students is governed by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and
Education – MIUR (regulations for
2011-2014, in Italian).
EU applicants (including non-EU applicants holding residency in Italy)
EU applicants include:
> EU residents
> non-EU citizens holding residency in Italy
> Italians holding degrees abroad
> political refugees
> foreign diplomats in Italy
> applicants holding dual citizienship
> citizens of Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Switzerland and the Republic of San Marino
EU applicants are subject to the same procedures and deadlines as Italian citizens.
