Undergraduate and graduate programmes offered by the University iuav of Venice:

Refugee applicants with pending academic qualification documentation

Refugee applicants awaiting their academic qualification documentation must contact Susanna Scarpa and present any documentation they have available to attest their qualifications in the meantime.

All submitted academic qualifications will be subject to evaluation for the purpose of recognising / validating the previous training course, regardless of compliance with the regulations.

The University is responsible for the academic recognition of qualifications, in accordance with Law n. 148 of 11 July 2002 to ratify Art. 7 of the Lisbon Convention.

By adhering to the National Coordination on the Evaluation of the Qualifications of Refugees (Coordinamento Nazionale sulla Valutazione delle Qualifiche dei Rifugiati - CNVQR), Universitą Iuav di Venezia makes use of the experience and collaboration of experts from the Information Centre on Mobility and Academic Equivalences (Centro di Informazione sulla Mobilitą e le Equivalenze Accademiche - CIMEA) for evaluation purposes.

Once the evaluation of the documentation is complete, applicants must pre-register online to one first-level undergraduate degree programme or one second-level graduate degree programme offered by the University, according to the terms, conditions, and procedures defined in each specific call for admission.

They will then take an admission test, if required by the specific call for admission. If the result is positive, they may proceed with the conditional enrolment procedures if the required legal documents are still not available (academic qualification/degree, declaration of validity, etc.).
