The Undergraduate Degree Programme in Architecture: Techniques and Design offers a good balance between educational activities that are very focused on design experience, and other multidisciplinary activities

The Undergraduate Degree Programme in Architecture: Techniques and Design offers a good balance between educational activities that are very focused on design experience, and other multidisciplinary activities. The combination of theory and practice, a balance of knowledge and know-how, allows for a constant monitoring of the studentslearning. The year’s workshop is the place for practical experimentation and actual assessment of the learning process. The workshops and the single-subject courses contribute to a particularly rich and articulated curriculum, which promotes the development of both critical and practical skills. The passage from teaching to learning, and the assessment of this process, is a central element in the educational process as a whole, and is in fact enhanced by many discussions, debates, and exchange seminars.

Professional profile

The programme prepares students for the profession of architect, and allows them to qualify as junior architect enrolled in the professional register of Architects, Planners, Landscape Designers, and Curators/Section B. Graduates will be able to: collaborate in the planning and management of construction works, as well as carry out estimates and tests on private and public buildings; plan and manage work projects, monitor, measure, handle accounting and settlement for simple civil construction, through standardised methods and instrumental surveying on current and/or historical buildings.
