The Undergraduate Degree Programme in Architecture, Construction and Conservation equips students with the cultural, methodological, and technical knowledge that will allow them to work independently in the professional world of Design and Planning. In the course of the three-year programme, students will complete at least six specific design activities, they will attend weekly workshops, and carry out a period of internship.

The programme also ensures that students have the necessary basics to effectively continue their studies with a two-year Graduate Degree Programme, in which they will be able to develop specialised and qualifying design skills. The intensive courses (summer workshops) — scheduled for the end of the second semester of the first two academic years — are held by renowned professors, many of which are of international relevance, and will offer the opportunity to undertake an international design and planning experience.

Professional profile

The programme prepares students for the profession of architect, and allows them to qualify as junior architect enrolled in the professional register of Architects, Planners, Landscape Designers, and Curators/Section B. Graduates will be able to: collaborate in the planning and management of construction works, as well as carry out estimates and tests on private and public buildings; plan and manage work projects, monitor, measure, handle accounting and settlement for simple civil construction, through standardised methods and instrumental surveying on current and/or historical buildings
