Universities

The Consortium composition reflects the integrated perspective of the Master Course. As multi-disciplinary team work is substantially more effective and valid in facing planning and policy issues, the academic staff is composed by scholars and professionals from several fields. Aware of the challenge of finding a common language, the aim is to enrich the learning environment, with students as primarily beneficiaries.

The forty years’ experience in planning and policy making of Iuav, with a strategic expertise in process evaluation, assessment procedures and planning, constitutes a solid support to the integrated approach.

University of Seville specialized in fundamentals of Maritime policy and Marine Spatial Planning, Planning Marine Geography and GIS applied to marine environment.

Universidade dos Ašores, specialized on environmental issue and geo-technologies (as Prof. Calado's profile) will contribute to found and to share the contents of the Master program.
