pre-registration and registration process

 

Once you have been selected you must confirm by e-mail your acceptance, within one week after receiving the notification e-mail sent by the university coordinator Iuav;

You will receive from the first host university (University of Seville) the acceptance letter to show to the Spanish embassy in your country, in order to receive your visa;

You must pre-register at both universities, Iuav University of Venice, coordinator of the master course, and University of Sevilla.

Candidates must complete the enrolment in the registration area here >>  (you log in the “login” area and enter in “enrolment”), attaching through the online procedure:

- the duly legalized degree certificate, translated by the Embassy (the one asked by University of Seville will be ok);

- identity document or passport;

- visa or visa request (for non-EU students);

- payment of the registration fee, net of postal or bank charges and stamp of the current value (€ 16.00).

Scholarship holders are obliged to do the pre-registration but not the payment of the fee that will be deducted directly from the financing of the European Community.

The entry fee to the Joint Master Course on Maritime Spatial Planning is determined as follows:

- EUR 4,000 per semester, net of postal expenses or bank charges and stamp of the current value (€16.00) for non-EU applicants

- EUR 2,000 per semester excluding postal or bank charges and stamp of the current value (€16.00) for EU applicants.

The registration fee must be paid to the following bank account:

University of Seville

From Seville you will receive an acceptance letter (which you will use to ask for your visa) and the first information package. You have to pre-register through the pre-registration procedure D.U.A. (Distrito Śnico Universitario Andaluz) from the Andalusia Council.

If you do not know Spanish, the secretariat at the International Graduate School will do the pre-registration for you but you have to prepare and SEND BY E-MAIL the following documents (if you have any problem with some document, please keep the Seville office  informed):

 

- A certified copy of a valid Passport (or NIE – Residence Permit).

- The original Degree Certificate/Diploma of your undergraduate studies or an authenticated copy. This degree has to give direct access to postgraduate studies.

- The original academic certificate or an authenticated copy of your studies issued by the country of origin. This document should include: the duration, the subjects, academic records from the university of origin indicating the minimum record to pass and the grade scale, duration of each subject (yearly, semester/quarter, etc.), number of theoretical and practical hours given per week, final marks and duration (either in time or ECTS credits), including the results of the Final Project.

- Certification issued by the University of origin confirming that the undergraduate Diploma presented provides access to Graduate Studies in the hosting university.

 

When you arrive in Seville you will have to deliver the original paper copies of these documents to the International Graduate School’s  secretariat.

 

All the academic documents must be official and issued by the competent authorities and, except for the copy of the passport and for the certification confirming the access to Graduate Studies, they must be duly legalised, signed and translated into Spanish according to the requirements of the Spanish legislation.
