The EMU is a joint program that aims to produce highly qualified, university-trained urban designers, physical planners and researchers. The EMU brings together the strengths and richness of different design approaches and methods, and the long traditions and experiences of the four universities.
The programme consists of three core modules and a final research/design project. Course participants must fulfill a minimum of two semesters at their hosting institution and one or two semesters in the other universities participating in the consortium.
Design studios form the core of each semester’s programme. Subsidiary knowledge are obtained within other courses and seminars.
All courses are conducted in English.
