EMU is a joint programme that aims to produce highly qualified,
university-trained urban designers, physical planners and researchers. It
brings together the strengths and richness of different design approaches and
methods, and the long traditions and experiences of the four universities.
The programme consists of three core modules and a final research/design
project. Course participants must fulfil a minimum of two semesters at their
hosting institution and one or two semesters in the other universities of the
consortium.
Design studios form the core of each semester’s programme.
Subsidiary knowledge is obtained through other courses and seminars.
All courses are taught in English
