Objectives

The formation and training of architects should begin to include more and more often the study of all the potential aid that today’s computer software can offer. The spectrum of digital instruments is broad, it goes beyond the single discipline (design, representation, graphics) and it conditions the architectural profession in its complexity.

The professional figures in architecture studios must have a complex profile, and must be able to manage the various software tools that are decisive in design processes.

Specific software is designed to carry out different tasks, starting with the creative process at the base of the architecture project, moving on to management and verification, and finally arriving at model construction.

Knowledge of the use of IT tools must necessarily supplement the formation of architects and designers, and it is a key requirement in the job market.

Professional profiles

The Postgraduate Specialisation Programme responds to a great demand by national and international job markets, requiring figures that are well aware and trained in the use of various digital tools for architecture.

These professional figures must be able to combine skills in the field of visual communication, digital content, animation, and virtual and enhanced reality, with specific architectural purpose.

The sensibility and training of the architect will be enhanced by these ever-evolving digital instruments.
