Louise Wallenberg

Associate Professor Louise Wallenberg received her PhD in film studies at Stockholm University in 2002. Since 2006 she has been involved in building the Centre for Fashion Studies at Stockholm University, of which she is also Director. As Director she has developed the undergraduate, the graduate, and the postgraduate programmes offered at the Centre, and she has organised several international symposiums. She has been guest professor at the University of Oregon in 2003 and at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in 2009. Her research interest covers film, fashion and gender studies, and she is currently editing two volumes dealing with fashion and film in the 20th Century.
